ひとことで言うと

Per device-minute of automated test or remote access, or a flat monthly rate for an unmetered slot.

見落とすところ

Metered minutes count device time, not test time, so install, setup and teardown are billed with the run. An unmetered slot and a reserved private device bill every month whether or not you run a single test.
