AWS Verified Access

  • Timebilled
  • Bytesbilled
  • Callsnot billed

In one line

Each application endpoint runs an hourly meter, and the traffic through it bills per GB.

What gets missed

The hourly fee attaches to each application, not to the Verified Access instance, so fifty apps means fifty meters. Normal AWS data transfer charges land on top of the data-processing fee.

Find it on your bill

Filter Cost Explorer or your Cost and Usage Report by these usage types. A usage type with no region prefix means us-east-1.

  • VerifiedAccess-DataProcess-Bytes
  • VerifiedAccess-ConnectionHours

Bills the same way

These services turn exactly the same meters, so what you learn here transfers.
