Amazon S3 Express One Zone

  • Timebilled
  • Bytesbilled
  • Callsbilled

In one line

Tuned for request-heavy work. Requests undercut S3 Standard by a wide margin; storage costs several times more.

What gets missed

On top of the per-request fee it charges per GB uploaded and per GB retrieved, and since April 2025 that applies to every byte rather than only the part of a request over 512 KB. Idle data here is expensive.
