Workload estimates are free; bill estimates are free for the first five a month, then billed per estimate.

What gets missed

The cost-planning tool has its own line item. After five bill estimates in a calendar month every further one is charged, including ones generated by the API. Failed estimates are neither counted nor billed.

Find it on your bill

Filter Cost Explorer or your Cost and Usage Report by these usage types. A usage type with no region prefix means us-east-1.
