The IDE adds nothing to your bill. Its EC2 instance and EBS volume bill at normal rates.

見落とすところ
Autohibernation is the entire cost control here. Switch it off and the backing EC2 instance runs around the clock. Cloud9 also stopped taking new customers in July 2024, so fresh accounts cannot use it.
